Star Director Sukumar Applauds Prasanna Vadanam at Trailer Launch and Pre-release Event
Hyderabad: The buzz around the upcoming Telugu suspense thriller, “Prasanna Vadanam,” reached new heights as star director Sukumar praised the film during its trailer launch and pre-release event. The event was graced by several esteemed personalities from the Telugu film industry.
Directed by Arjun YK, who previously worked as an associate with Sukumar, “Prasanna Vadanam” stars the talented Suhas in the lead role. The film is produced by JS Manikantha and TR Prasad Reddy and features Payal Radhakrishna and Rashi Singh as the heroines. The teaser and songs released earlier have already received an overwhelming response from the audience.
During the pre-release event, Sukumar lauded the film and its team. “Initially, we considered Suhas for the role of Keshav, the hero’s friend in ‘Pushpa.’ However, seeing Suhas’s potential, we cast him as the lead, and it felt like the right choice. Suhas possesses a natural acting style similar to Nani’s,” Sukumar said.
He also praised the performances of Rashi Singh and Payal Radhakrishna, as well as the music composed by Vijay Bulganin. Sukumar expressed gratitude to the producers for entrusting the project to Arjun and commended Arjun’s dedication and logical approach to filmmaking.
“Arjun is very sincere, yet he possesses a lot of logic. He has been a part of my filmmaking journey since ‘Jagadam,’ and his contributions have been invaluable. His commitment to storytelling and logic is commendable,” Sukumar added.
Reflecting on the film, Suhas expressed confidence in its ability to entertain audiences and urged their support. “Arjun has put in a lot of effort, and the producers have shown immense passion in bringing this project to life. ‘Prasanna Vadanam’ will surely entertain audiences, and we promise an engaging experience in theaters,” Suhas said.
Directors Buchibabu Sana and Karthik Dandu, along with actor-director Srinivasa Avarasala and writer Prasanna Kumar Bejawada, also shared their thoughts on the film, expressing optimism about its success.
“Prasanna Vadanam” is set to hit theaters on May 3, and with the overwhelming support and praise received at the pre-release event, expectations are high for this unique suspense thriller.
